Anxiety and Panic attacks will increase due to COVID-19, as people are progressively worried about their health and well-being. The impact that the corona virus will have on people's mental condition is likely to cause a rise specifically among the vulnerable. People who are unemployed and live from “hand to mouth” will be at greater risk especially when there are restrictions of movement. The daily life changes, feelings of isolation and uncertainty are toxic for individuals and can lead to mental illness.
Here are some ways to help manage anxiety and panic attacks during COVID-19:
Do breathing exercises daily to help manage nervousness and prevent a panic attack
Exercise to regulate stress levels, release tension, enhance your mood and boost confidence
Read or watch a favorite movie to relax
Practice meditation
Talk with family and friends
Seek therapy
